Photography
I am a nature photographer specializing in macro photography of trees and other forest plants. Currently, my favorite subject to photograph is the winter buds of deciduous trees and shrubs. The collage above (entitled Winter Meditation) includes photos of 25 species of native trees and shrubs that I took in the Lakeshore Nature Preserve in Madison, Wisconsin, in February and March 2026.
